Trip Cancellation Plans
You may be spending a significant amount of money on this trip. What would happen if something unexpected caused you to change or cancel your plans? Trip cancellation coverage can help you recover these funds in the event that unexpected circumstances make it impossible for you to go. It can also help protect you from unexpected costs related to trip delays (i.e. missed flights), interruptions, and even incidental costs related to lost luggage (that never happens!).
Let’s face it: Stuff happens that we can’t predict! Trips get cancelled due to unexpected physical problems, family emergencies, political turmoil in the destination country, etc. Trip cancellation coverage can help you get reimbursed should your plans get scratched or delayed.

Coverage on the primary plan we utilize (called RoundTrip) includes:
- Trip cancellation up to $20,000 maximum coverage
- Trip interruption up to 150% of trip cost
- Trip delay ($500)
- Missed connection ($500)
- Lost baggage / personal effects ($1000)
- Baggage delay ($200)
Optional coverages include:
- Collision coverage of a rented vehicle ($35,000)
- Cancellation for any reason
- Higher benefit levels on some standard benefits listed above

Trip cancellation coverage also includes some medical coverage. The standard plan above includes $50,000 in medical coverage as well as evacuation coverage. This plan can be enhanced to include $100,000 in medical coverage. Alternatively, it can be supplemented with a slightly-scaled back traditional travel medical plan from the same carrier if you want more coverage.
